RIIRTM203D Work as a safety observer/spotter
This course has been designed for persons involved in road building, road maintenance, bitumen sheeting, civil construction earthworks, mining and quarrying. This includes those who may work, supervise, or manage persons who may be required to work in the vicinity of road works.
It aims to provide participants with the underpinning knowledge to be able to recognize and ensure the requirements of a safe work environment in relation to or near road maintenance, bitumen sheeting, or civil construction earthworks.
Unit of Competency
Safety Observer/Spotter course requires the completion of the following unit of competency to achieve a Statement of Attainment.
- RIIRTM203D Work as a safety observer/spotter
How to apply basic First Aid and CPR techniques.
Important Information
- On successful completion participants receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIRTM230D Work as a Safety Observer/Spotter. (Valid for three (3) years) and be registered on the Current Training Database.
